verdiperspektiven is an academic journal whose contributions are submitted to a rigorous peer-review. The journal is issued once a year by the publisher Königshausen & Neumann. In addition to the ‘classical’ essays included, a second section is dedicated to publishing and commenting documents from Verdi’s time which are difficult to access or have hitherto been ignored. A third focus of verdiperspektiven are reviews that take into consideration as many new publications on Verdi and the music theatre of his time as possible.
The journal is published once a year by Königshausen & Neumann Verlag. Publication languages are English, French, German and Italian.
Submitted articles should not exceed a maximum of 10’000 words (footnotes included). The deadline for submissions intended for the next issue, Vol. 4 (2019), is 30 August 2018. To facilitate the editorial process, prior contact with the editorial team is recommended:
